shhhh! a secret!

I am so ready to go. Where am I going? I can't tell you because it's a secret. So I'm trying really, really, really hard not to give away any hints about where I'm going and why I'm going and how I'm getting there and who I will see and what I will eat (but I do like cake).
I'm waiting patiently at the door ready to make my escape when I hear the roar of the engine. That's all I can say for now.

tagged!

My friend Moco tagged me to play a game where I have to answer questions about myself so here goes.

1. What was I doing 10 years ago? Well...I can't remember back that far but 10 MONTHS ago I had just made my entry into this wonderful world!

2. What are the 5 things on my to do list for today: eat, sleep, chew, potty, chew.

3. Snacks I enjoy: snackies, carrots, wallymelon, apples, cheese

4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire: I'm not sure what that is, but Grammie says if she were a billionaire, she would open a home for old doggies and so I would try to help her.

5. Three of my bad habits: biting chairs, chewing shoes, chirping when I'm not happy.

6. Five places I have lived: That's easy because I've only lived in two places. The first was at the breeders (where they called me Cinderella!) and when I was 4 months old, Motch and P.A. came and whisked me away from there and changed my name to Petra so I don't have to worry about turning into a pumpkin at midnight anymore.

7. Five jobs I have had:
I am a baker of peamutt butter treats.
I am a mighty warrior and destroyer of this chair.
I am a concert pianist.

I am a caretaker to Leah at times, but she refused to let me post her beautiful picture. And by far, my favorite job is being an aunt to Fig and Tad. I am a very fun aunt, too!

So now you know a little more about me, and I am tagging my friends Gus and Louie, Levi and Cooper, Seadra & Zoe, and my sister Leah to play this game.

so tired

I've been so busy! Motch and P.A. went away for the weekend, but they left me in good hands -- Leah's! Fig and Tadpole came to see me and guess what? I ate watermelon for the first time and loved it!

Thanks to Ruby Bleu, I was still able to get to the skating party that Pearl & Opal hosted, too.

I hope you all had a great memorial weekend; now it's time to rest up.

PS - I stand corrected, thanks to Ruby. I meant to say "wallymelon"! (It was so good it turned my brain off.)

revived!

Look who I found resting on my favorite chair.Resting I say! Can you believe it? This chair is not meant for RESTING.
It is meant for grabbing, pulling, tugging, ripping!

Like this!

After this great display of terrierism, Tad left and Fig was bored. What's up with that?

resting

What a weekend! Ruby just dropped me off and she did a great job finding my house. As you can see, this dress fits just a little tighter than it did before I left, and Ruby, I promise I will not wear clothes to a party. Ever again. Before I collapse for a couple of days, I thought I'd answer some of your questions from my last post, so here goes:

Moco, yes, this is what normal looks like. That's why it's so fun to fly around the world with my friends!

Suki, Motch found my dress at a high class Dollar Store. I think that's why it doesn't fit very good.

Calichi, Motch loves to shop on ebay and that's where she found the mailbox topper, but the seller has a website -- http://stores.ebay.com/Quanah-Metal-Art -- where you can find this and many other toppers. So have fun shopping!

I'm so tired, but I'm having such sweet dreams!

party time

OMD! It's here! Time to party with all of my friends! Just to make sure Aire Ruby could find my house, I went shopping.
Is there any doubt that a BT lives here?

Leah says it's a boy dog, but whatever, Leah...
I thought about climbing inside to wait for Ruby, but decided against it.
I didn't want to rumple my new dress. Hurry, Ruby, come and get me!

sticks

Sticks are the best. Sticks from trees, from bushes, from a bird's nest...whatever! I usually find them outside, but the other day I walked into the bedroom and found Tad chewing a stick I'd never seen before. It was white and had a brush on one end. Tad said it tasted like peppermint and was better than carrots.
He looooooooooooooooooooooooooved it!I found another one, and Tad was right: this thing was as good as shoe strings and velcro tabs. I offered Fig a chew, but she said she wanted a stick of cheese instead (unfortunately, that wasn't an option).

Ah....life is good!

dog park

Tad and I went to the dog park the other day. Fig had to stay home because she doesn't like to play with other dogs. I wasn't sure how much I'd like the park so I stayed close to Motch and watched to see what would happen.
There was a whole lot of sniffing going on.Tad enjoyed it.
I put up with it.
I chose to keep my distance, even during a bitey-face game.
Saying hi to the bigger dogs was fun.
All in all, it wasn't a bad day, but I didn't turn any cartwheels while I was there.

exhausted!

Well, Fig felt sorry for me because the rabbit wouldn't play with me. She told me he will never be my friend, so I'm going to save my carrots for Tad and let him eat them when he comes over since he can't have any other food at my house.

Fig explained that dogs should play with dogs instead of rabbits, and then she demonstrated what boston play is all about.

OMD, look at this girl go!She totally wears me out.

no one to play with

I love the warm weather, and whenever I get the chance, I go outside. From my deck, I can scan the horizon and look for Moose who lives next door. If he is out, he always comes over to pee on my bushes and to smell me. Then he saunters off and I'm left alone.

And then I have another almost friend who lives closer than Moose. Can you believe his home is right under my deck! I always go look for him,
but Motch spoils my fun and pulls on my rope to get me to come out.
My almost friend is sitting behind me but Motch couldn't get his picture because it was too dark under there, but he looks like this:
Do you think he'd play with me if I gave him some carrots?

whistle a happier tune

Sometimes when I'm outside, my dad whistles when he wants me to come to him. I thought I would like to learn to whistle, too, so that when I want him to come to me, I could make the same sound. So I asked my mom Motch to teach me how to whistle. She was agreeable, and stuck her fingers in my mouth because that's how you make this loud sound. However, she got sidetracked. Once she got her fingers in my mouth, she wanted to know if I lost any of my baby teeth. So she looked this way,
and that way,
and concluded that she couldn't even tell.
After all that, the only sound I could make was a squeak. Not even close to a whistle.
