I had so much fun with Leah! She didn't wake me up early in the morning and she let me stay up late at night. The first night Motch was back, we were in bed and she turned off the lights and wanted to go to sleep. Only one problem there: she forgot to give me my bone. I had Leah convinced that the only way for me to settle down at night was to give me a bone to chew for my bedtime snack. I cried (ok, yes, you all know by now that my cry is really a chirp) and begged but she stood firm and wouldn't let me have my bone. I guess my vacation is over.
Tonight Motch is leaving again for a few days. She's going with Leah to Albuquerque to listen to Leah read a paper at a conference. This time I'll be left with P.A. and he won't let me sleep in. He leaves our house at 5 AM to get to work, which means he'll wake me up around 4 AM. It's a good thing he won't be blogging because all you would hear from me is complaints.
I KNOW my vacation is over.

Poor darling Petra. Grammie gives Foley a treat to stop him from jumping straight up in the air. I believe she thinks that he will knock her over and she has such a round bottom she would be going side to side for a very long time. GOOD LUCK to Massah in law on her paper reading. Why does she have to go to New Mexico?

Oh boy... I used to potty at 4 am on the dot every morning, so I know that hour well. It's dark and cold and scary outside so I feel for you, girl! Vacation is over for sure. :/

That is way too early!! At least you had a fun vacation. Hopefully you'll get to have another one. I heard you're supposed to have 2 vacations a year. Mom's still trying to figure out how that works.
