My morning starts by getting up around 6 AM, going outside, eating a few nibbles of food because my food is boring, then going back to sleep on Motch's lap as she drinks her morning coffee.When she gets up to take her shower, I continue sleeping on the couch until she is dressed and ready for work, at which time I go to the kitchen to get nibbles of better food like CHEESE!
Today, I was sleeping when all of a sudden a VERY LOUD NOISE made me jump off of her lap. It was coming from the boy's room upstairs. I'm used to hearing his music each morning because he can't get up until it sings to him, but today's music sounded like the 4th of July and made me shake. For a moment I looked up the stairs to his bedroom and was tempted to see if he was under attack and needed some help, but I quickly came to my senses.
Instead, I followed Motch into the bathroom and waited patiently until she got out of the shower.
At her urging, I cautiously made my way back to the bedroom...and did what was necessary to calm my nerves.

I can sympathize, Petra. Levi's dad can't ear very well and has to have all volume controls set REALLY high.

Oh uh what is wrong with your boy? Why would he need to scare you like that. You tell him no more.
Does that gated community he lives in have a homeowner's association you could report a noise violation to?
Personally, I like noise - but usually I'm the one making it.
