About the noise from the boy's room that scared me so much the other morning, I would like to say that it was an explosion or a fire alarm or him falling out of bed or something, but I have to be honest and tell it to you straight.It was his alarm clock going off.

Now that may not sound scary to you, but let me assure you, it was a petrifying experience for Petra the faint-of-heart.

This is where I like to eat my food. I'm usually not hungry in the morning, due to the fact that I get fed dry, boring stuff, but when Fig and Tad come to see me, I've learned to immediately eat my food. If I don't, they will. So when they come over, my food gets picked up from the floor and put on the counter. Then I get picked up and put on the counter to eat. I'd like to thank Hannah, who started this tradition. It makes the dining experience much more tolerable.

Even when I'm here alone, I still jump up to get to the counter to let my mom know I'm hungry and want to eat. It's the next best thing to eating at a table, anyway.
