busy weekend

Yesterday Motch, Hannah and Leah went to to Wrigley Field to watch the Cubs play. If only I had spent more time practicing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" on the piano, I might have been invited to go along and play at the 7th inning stretch.
AND if I had gone, perhaps they would have won the game. But oh well...
Lucky for me, my dad is a Cardinals fan, and so he didn't go to the the game. Instead, he stayed home with me, and then Fig and Tad came over. Fig always gets me wound up.
Those two always miss Hannah, though, and they eventually found their way to the window to watch for her to come back. And while they were doing that, I got out the camera and took some fabulous pictures of me because I'm taking your advice. I'm getting them developed at Walgreens, slipping them into Motch's bag so that she can have more pictures of ME, Sweet P. She'll be so surprised when she goes to work tomorrow and finds them. Thanks for the suggestion, friends!

Petra, you live in a divided household? Cubs fans living in harmony with Cards fans?

When my mom graduated from college (in STL), the commencement speaker (George Will) started talking about growing up between St. Louis and Chicago, and how if you chose the Cards you'd be a liberal and the Cubs you'd be a conservative... and everyone in the audience was very confused. Then he told all the university graduates that they should remember to stay in school and not have children out of wedlock. My mom says she was very befuddled.

PS Good idea about the pictures! I'm saving up my pieces of cheese to buy my mom one of those digital photo frames just for pictures of ME!

Good job taking those pictures of you and send them to print out.
Poor Tad and Fig. They look so sad waiting for Hannah to come back!

Fig and Tad look kinda sad waiting on Hannah!

You probably had more fun with them than you would've at the ballpark!!

Look how close Tad and Fig are to each other. Who would have thought that could happen.
Glad you are getting those pictures done. Motch will have to put them all over everyone's office.

I know how you feel - when the Red Sox are on, dad practically ignores me. Sometimes he'll share a cheesy snack or two, but I require 100% of his focus 100% of the time. It's cruel. Just cruel.
