My dad went fishing and my mom is watching the Cubs, so I was forced to entertain myself. The shoe tasted good for the short time I had it. If I had just stayed in the bedroom, I wouldn't have been caught. 
Life is too short to sweat the small stuff, though, so I gave up the shoe without a protest in exchange for this little bone.I hope you're all staying cool and enjoying your Saturday!

The shoe has some appeal but the bone is way better. Hope it cools down for you Petra. Heat is horrid. It's nice and cold down here.

Don't get that slipper fuzz in your nose. You will just want to sneeze. I thought they put all the shoes up high. Motch must have been in a big hurry to see the Cubs and forgot. She does not realize that it is part of the terrier master plan to get good TREATS. We will not let her know. Grammie hasn't figured it out yet. They can be soooo slow sometimes.
Petra, I agree about shoes sort of, I like Nanny's slippers, but I just play with them so she lets me, I haven't chewed on them yet, just wait. Thank you so much for my Very Special Person Award, I will post it as soon as Nanny lets me since she is using it in her latest book, geesh I thought it was mine.

Yepper our Uncle Doug is a farmer and he loves days like you are having. Of course he didn't enjoy all the rain that happened earlier in the year since he had to replant a lot of his marsh land... Have a great day..
