waiting for Ruby

No time to pose for pictures today.
I'm waiting for Ruby.
Yeah, yeah, I know she isn't coming until tomorrow, but I just don't want to miss her.

Hi Miss Pot Pie (delicious!),

Evo is a good brand of food. I recommend your folks search for "Whole Dog Journal Top 10 List" for the best-ranked dog food brands. They come out with a new list each year.

If your humans really want to up the ante on healthy food, they can add bits of cooked meats to your meals. Even if it's an every-other-day treat where you're supplemented with baked chicken/beef/lamb/fish... it'll dramatically increase your nutrition profile and add much-needed variety to the diet. Only with variety can you rest assured that you're getting a sufficient range of nutrients.

One of my buddies' humans will get ground meats that are on sale and bake them meatloaf style (nothing but meat) and then cut little meal-size portions and freeze them. Makes weeks'-worth of easy add-ons to their kibble! Plus you can add some pureed veggies to the loaf mix if you want to get really creative.

But in the end, yes, Evo is a good brand. I believe that they share processing facilities with other brands, so keep this in mind if you hear about recalls. But we're big fans of anything that's grain-free and human grade. Good choice!

You're very welcome, Petra. Adding a variety of fresh foods is a great way to help prevent allergies, and pinpoint any trouble foods if you have any. And it makes feasting times super exciting.

I love to chat about feasting, so if you have any questions feel free to send them my way!

Not to worry, get some rest. You are going to need it when the party starts. Being older I will probably need a few naps.
