I like to follow Fig around the house when she comes to visit. This is one of our favorite places. Whenever Fig jumps up here, I make my way up right beside her. Then we sit and wait patiently.
After waiting patiently for a minute or two, Fig starts to whine. She can really whine good. And loud. And then she focuses.

We love these things.

Eventually, if we sit here long enough, we might get one. And it's worth the wait!

What's in the basket? Can I have a piece?

I bet if I came to visit I could get those down for you then Fig wouldn't need to whine. I would even give some to Tad. :)

I see Tad pretending to be as cool as you two...

Hey, Petra Girl!

You, fren, have a very sweet pupgirl face. It is hard to imagine you having to beg for anything. I see Taddy lurking in the background there. Are you all being sweet to him?

I'm also sitting her giggling (just a little) about how you are half the size of your niece, Fig. You look very intense sitting there together... waiting.

I hope you got what you were waiting for.

Gooby love & kissies,

That Fig is really smart. You are very lucky to have such a great teacher.

Well of course you get one! Look at that little mush face. Being patient pays off sometimes.

Penny has "the whine" mastered.

My mom is a sucker for the puppy dog eyes. You and Fig have that DOWN! I just know that if the three (err, looks like four!) of us got together we could finagle the entire basket. Just think... Mmmm.

And what's up with Tad in the background? It looks like he walked out of one of his socks!
