whistle a happier tune

Sometimes when I'm outside, my dad whistles when he wants me to come to him. I thought I would like to learn to whistle, too, so that when I want him to come to me, I could make the same sound. So I asked my mom Motch to teach me how to whistle. She was agreeable, and stuck her fingers in my mouth because that's how you make this loud sound. However, she got sidetracked. Once she got her fingers in my mouth, she wanted to know if I lost any of my baby teeth. So she looked this way,
and that way,
and concluded that she couldn't even tell.
After all that, the only sound I could make was a squeak. Not even close to a whistle.

My, what pretty chompers you have Petra! Your mom's not right. It's good though to have a sound that you can call your dad by. Keep practicing and have a happy day :-)

Motch is lucky to have all her fingers what with all the poking around in your mouth. Humans are such an odd bunch.

What a good girl you are NOT to bite motch!!! And great idea for calling PA.

What's going on with Figgy and Tad...they've been very quiet lately!

This just proves you are a sweeeeet girl! My mom wouldn't even be able to put her fingers in my mouth!

Do you still have all your baby teeth?

What lovely teeth you have. My dad taught us to come when he whistles which made my mom mad because she can't whistle so we don't come to her to much when she calls.

You keep practicing you will get it. Louie doesn't hear so we just wave at him and he comes running. Of course Mom or Dad have to have a cookie for him...

I'm trying to learn out to whistle, too. I figure it works so well on us, it wouldn't hurt to try on my parents. I haven't figured it out yet though. One night my butt whislted though. That worked in the opposite way though. Mom left the room instead. Oh well. lol

Hi, Petra!
My mom is very good whistling! And I want to do that too!
Motch is like my mom. She starts looking for something and ends finding something else!
Good girl letting her do that!

Petra Girl!

Those photos are both hilaire-eous and stinkin' cute. (What is on Motch's ring, by the way? Does it say something?) I like your chompers. Tell Motch she'll start seeing baby teeth on the floor soon enough, and when that happens you might have a little bout of bad breath (it will seem bad to her but it's actually quite a heavenly scent).

Goober love,
Stanley
