life's little blessings

Note from Motch: My dad has trouble sleeping at night in the hospital so we've been staying with him to try to keep him relaxed. I got home last night around 1 AM and who came bounding out to see me, her little tail wagging as much as it can for a boston, her ears way back and her little body wiggling all over? Little Miss Petra Pot Pie!She washed my face with kisses and made me smile...and it made me realize how blessed I am to have this little girl to help ease the stress when life gets hard. Can you relate?!

Heya lady dude.

There's a reason us canines are used for therapy. We have magic that the double-leggers will never understand. Work it girl. Work it!

We're sending vibratingly excitably good cocker spaniel vibes to your grandpa!

Can you smuggle her into the hospital? Just say she's a therapy dog :)

I hope your dad feels better soon!
The best part of my day is when I come home from work and Lorenza is waiting for me at the door!

Oh, Motch!

I TOTALLY relate! They're not "just dogs" are they? I've often thought that if there are no dogs in heaven then I'm not sure it would BE heaven.

Goober love,

Yup, we totally understand where you're coming from, Petra! When my dad was so sick and in and out of the hospital waiting for his new heart to come, I was mom's best friend! She always says that she wouldn't have made it through without my help!
We're so glad your mom has you to lean on, Petra!

Love ya lots

I have 3 who meet me at the door every morning jumping and dancing along with the 2 cats. I would rather spend most of my time with them than most humans.

Oh my! We are sorry we haven't been by to support you!! We will pray real hard. We have been doing so much of it for gramma, we will sure add your family too!!! And yes. Dogs just look at you, know something is up, and kiss you and cheer you up. Or listen to you talk and say things you can't say to people. Or cry on them and then they try to lick away the tears. Oh yes, I relate.
God Bless you all. We will be praying.
Hugs and love
